As adoptive parents, we first learned about squeaky shoes through the adoption community. As a parent of a toddler, we've really learned to love and appreciate the shoes. Our son absolutely ADORES his, and asks for his "squeakees" when he gets up in the morning and after naps.
What are squeaky shoes?
Squeaky shoes encourage babies and toddlers to walk through sound. With each step, your little one will delight in making squeaks while he or she walks. In order for the shoe to squeak a child must walk heal to toe. This encourages crawlers to begin walking and toddlers and young children to walk properly and not up on their toes. The audible feedback with every step will help your little one concentrate on his or her feet and motivate them to keep walking.

What Squeaky Shoes specializes in nice quality, yet affordable, squeaky shoes. We've found the cutest canvas, vinyl and leather squeaky shoes for both boys and girls. We offer unique and stylish squeaky baby and toddler shoes while keeping in mind the important matter of comfort and overall care for young feet. The soft leather (or canvas or vinyl) is extremely lightweight and flexible. Our shoes have flexible rubber soles on the bottom, which allow for natural movement. With a variety of styles, sizes and prices we truly have something for everyone. Some of the brands we carry include: MooShu Trainers, PipSqueakers, Sneak A Roos, Squeak Me Shoes and Little Blue Lamb. We are always searching to find more shoe styles to offer for you.
What size should I order?
At What Squeaky Shoes we carry squeaky shoes by several different designers and manufacturers. As a result, the measurements on each style shoe may vary slightly. Please check the size chart for the shoe you are interested in to ensure you order the correct size. When in doubt, please order a size larger as children's feet grow so quickly.
To measure your child's foot:
* Have your child stand on a piece of paper bare footed.
* Make a mark at the tip of the big toe and at the end of the heel.
* Measure the length between the two marks.
* The final number is the amount of space your child's foot will take up in the shoe. Use this number to determine which size will fit your child's foot best.
What are the safety features of the shoe?
Not only are squeaky shoes functional and fun for children, but parents also love the safety feature of knowing where their child is at all times. There is security in being able to "hear" your child as they walk around. These shoes are perfect for a trip to the zoo, the mall, or any other crowded place.
Can you disable the squeaker?
To temporarily disable the squeaker, place a piece of tape over the squeaker. In some styles the squeaker can be removed for "quiet" time and replaced for squeaky fun. To permanently disable the squeaker, drop child safe glue into the squeaker.
What is your return policy?
We have a 60 day return policy. If you are unhappy with the sizing of your shoes, we'll gladly exchange them. If you need to return them we can do that as well. Please send the shoes back to What Squeaky Shoes!

Located in the greater Houston, TX area, we're a family run business. Our son loves his squeaky shoes (he's a walking advertisement for us), as do our nieces and nephews. Everyone should have this much fun when they walk!
